Our first Sound Experience for Vodafone Portugal will travel the world as part of Dolby's showcase. According to Julian Pinn, Director at Dolby Laboratories the Sound Experience is great "for client demonstrations, training and other such educational events, and seminars that discuss the need for quality, standards, and services to uphold these.”. In collaboration with Y-Dreams, Indigo is designing the Soundscape of the new Cience & Tecnology Museum at Bilbao, Spain. Starting outside the building, the sound guides you in a journey, from minimalistic backgrounds to warm and organic enviroments. Opening date - February 2010

Julian Pinn talks about "Airplane"

 

The Director of Dolby's Distridution Services explains why they picked the "Vodafone Sound Experience" to star in their showcase.

 

How did you became aware of “Vodafone Sound Experience”?

 

Julian Pinn: “Dolby is a longstanding member of the Screen Advertising World Association (SAWA), as is Screenvision Portugal, and we are constantly working with SAWA on discovering and promoting new and innovative ways the cinema medium can be used in order to highlight and maintain its premium value. This often results in the use of Dolby technologies and services such as at SAWA’s annual packed-out seminar at the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival and also at SAWA’s biennial conferences. Already enjoying good relations with Screenvision Portugal and with Dolby-certified studio, Indigo, it was exciting to hear from SAWA that Screenvision and Indigo wanted to show Vodafone Sound Experience at SAWA’s Sydney Conference in November 2009. "Pare, Escute, Olhe" – Awards

The new documentary film "Pare, Escute, Olhe", directed by Jorge Pelicano just won six awards. Three at DocLisboa (Best Portuguese Documentary Film, Best Editing and School's Award) and three at CineEco (International Award, Portuguese Language Award and Youth Award).

 

We're proud to have been a part of this project. The nine songs composed by Manuel Faria, Frankie Chaves and Francisco Faria, are the result of more than a year's work with the author.
